Ashna Malik

Ashna Malik (b. 1998, New Delhi) is a multidisciplinary artist who received her BFA in 2020 from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Currently based in New Delhi, she works across traditional and digital media to explore themes of perception, distortion, immersion, and experience. Her work has been exhibited in diverse settings and is part of private collections in the United States, France, Dubai, Italy and India.

Through her paintings and interactive projections, Malik creates visually stimulating experiences that inspire viewers to question their perceptions of reality. By integrating traditional techniques with digital innovation, she pushes creative boundaries to produce immersive, thought-provoking works. Her use of dynamic lines and vibrant colours introduces movement and distortion, employing optical play to challenge how viewers see and interpret the world around them.

Malik has showcased her work at India Art Fair and Atlanta Art Fair participated in the India Art Fair’s Young Collectors Programme, and had two solo shows—Lines of Inquiry and Tangled—in Mumbai. She has shown her work across galleries in India and most recently had her debut show in Dubai. She has collaborated with brands such as Johnny Walker at Lollapalooza, La Marzocco, Budweiser, and SCAD, and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.
