b. 1995, lives and works in Chicago, IL. Griffin Goodman’s work merges pop-cultural imagery, humour, and layered visual narratives. His vibrant compositions draw on nostalgia and contemporary culture, creating playful yet incisive reflections on how images shape identity and collective memory.
Goodman received his MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2019 and his BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2017. He has exhibited widely in the United States and internationally, with solo shows at Andrew Rafacz Gallery (Chicago) and Crossley Gallery (Sarasota), and group exhibitions at Elmhurst Art Museum, Sarasota Art Center, Jaw Gallery (Japan), and Moosey Art (London).
A 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Goodman has also participated in residencies at the Royal Academy of Antwerp and the New York Studio Residency Program.
